PMJF Lion Vijay Ganatra Joined Lionism as a Charter Member of Lions Club of Turbhe in 1990 and became President in the year 1999-2000.  From 2000-01 he has served the District Administration in various administrative and activity position with distinction. 

He is known for his efficiency in administration and has demonstrated the same on several occasions.  He was Zone Chairperson in the year 2002-03 Region Chairperson in the year 2006-07 Joint District Cabinet Treasurer in the year 2008-09, District Cabinet treasurer in the year 2009-10 and also appointed as project coordinator for 7 days picnic at nainital and District Cabinet Secretary in the year 2011-12 and was awarded as best Secretary of the multiple. He has also served as a District Chairperson Membership and District Chairperson Leadership.

In activity front also, he has worked as District Chairperson, Environment, LCIF, Twining, Peace Poster, Journey for Sight, Diabetes, Dental Care, Mega Medical Camp, Community Services, and Lions Service for Children. 

He has served as District Coordinator GST in the L. Y.2024-25 and the achievements during the year are commencement of 5 new vision Centre, & 7 new permanent & signature project, construction of new 65 toilet blocks, water facility with water well and pipeline at two villages of vada taluka, construction of 3 check dam, 2 Bore well, distribution of 50,000 seed balls, constriction of a class room & distribution of Note book, School Bag and other stationary items to more than 25,000 students. As per LCI report about 4600 activities were carried out benefitting more than 68 lacs needy people. He has organized very informative GST Seminar. October Service week was launched with Grand Service week rally with more than 2000 participant including School children. Service week finale was witnessed by more than 425 participants. On finale day spot activity 40 cycles were distributed to Adivasi students.      In recognition of his service activities he has received best GST Coordinator of multiple award. 

He has participated in DLLI, RLLI, and Senior Lions Leadership Institute.

He has served as a trustee and office bearer of Lions Service Centre Koperkhairne continuously for twelve years he is honorary treasurer of Shree Lohana Samaj Navi Mumbai and also trustee of his home club trust. He is recipient of International President Medal two times and International President Appreciation Certificate twelve times and Multiple Award 7 times.

By profession he is property developer and consultant. His spouse LL Bharati extends all out support to him in his efforts in all fronts. The couple is blessed with 2 children daughter Gunjan who is Chartered Account married and settle at Singapore and son Hemal is a practicing advocate.
