🦁 Lions Club of Panvel Sargam Activity Report – Distribution of School Bags 1️⃣ Basic Theme & Title 🎒 “Bags of Hope – Filling Young Futures” Happiness Through Service – under the Global Cause Childhood Education. ⸻ 2️⃣ Activity Name Distribution of School Bags – Twinning with Lions Club of Ulwe Gems & other clubs 📅 Date & Time: Tuesday, 5th August 2025, 10:30 AM onwards 📍 Venue: ZP School, Vahal ⸻ 3️⃣ About the Event & Its Importance Education is the strongest foundation we can gift a child, and even a simple school bag becomes a powerful symbol of dignity and encouragement. For many children, receiving a new bag is more than just getting stationery — it’s about carrying their dreams with pride. Through this project, Lions aimed to support young students with a basic yet meaningful necessity, encouraging them to attend school regularly, feel confident, and nurture their aspirations. ⸻ 4️⃣ What We Did • A total of 500 school bags were distributed to students at ZP School Vahal. • Lions Club of Panvel Sargam proudly participated in this initiative, sponsoring and distributing 5 bags. • The program was enriched with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude from the children. • The event was graced by many distinguished Lions leaders, making it a collective celebration of service. ✨ Unique Highlight: Instead of a typical distribution, the event turned into a festival of joy — the sight of hundreds of children proudly raising their new red bags in the air created a powerful visual of hope and togetherness. ⸻ 5️⃣ Participation 👩‍🎓 Beneficiaries: 500 school students (5 through Panvel Sargam’s contribution). 🦁 Lions Involved from Panvel Sargam: • Ln Sanjay Godse • Ln Swati Godse • Sponsorship by Ln Alkesh Shah 🎖️ Distinguished Guests: • PDG Lion Surinder Sharma – Chief Guest • DG Lion N. Alkesh Shah (Panvel Sargam). 🎁 Items Distributed: 500 School Bags (5 by Panvel Sargam). ⏳ Lion Hours: Approx. 5 Hours. ⸻ 7️⃣ Outcome & Impact 🌟 Impact Statement: The sparkling eyes and cheerful faces of students holding up their new school bags told a story beyond words. For many of them, it was the first new bag of their life — and that pride was evident in their wide smiles. This small contribution created a ripple of motivation, reminding us that true service is not measured in numbers, but in the joy we spark in young hearts.
