Free Eye Check-up and Cataract Surgery Camp At Poymad

Free Eye Check-up and Cataract Surgery Camp Lions Club of Alibag Poynad, in association with the Senior Citizens Association, Poynad Division, organized a Free Eye Check-up and Cataract Surgery Camp for the local community. The camp was supported by Lions Health Foundation, Alibag. A total of 79 patients were examined during the camp. Out of these, 19 patients were diagnosed with cataract and were referred for cataract surgery. The surgeries will be carried out at Lions Health Foundation, Chondhi, Alibag. The camp was conducted with the active support of Lions Club members and the office bearers and members of the Senior Citizens Association, Poynad Division. The activity provided free eye screening and helped identify patients who require further treatment.
