Monthly Diabetes Check-up Camp – Saral Lions Club of Mandwa On Monday, 08th September 2025, the Lions Club of Mandwa took another significant step in the field of community health service by successfully organizing a Free Monthly Diabetes Check-up Camp at Saral. This noble initiative was held in collaboration with Lions True Diagno Pathology Lab, Chondi and with the active support and participation of Ln. Amit Naik. The primary aim of this camp was to spread awareness about the importance of regular diabetes screening and to provide timely diagnosis for the local population, especially those who otherwise find it difficult to access regular medical services. Diabetes is one of the major lifestyle-related health challenges faced by society today, and by conducting such monthly camps, the Lions Club of Mandwa continues to uphold its motto “We Serve” in a meaningful and practical way. During this camp, a total of 20 beneficiaries from the local community availed themselves of the free check-up facilities. Each patient was guided through the process with care, ensuring they received the required attention and counseling about the importance of managing and monitoring blood sugar levels. Such initiatives not only provide immediate medical relief but also help in creating long-term health awareness in society. The camp was made possible due to the dedicated involvement of the club members who were present and actively contributed to the success of the activity. Their presence ensured smooth coordination, proper assistance to the patients, and a warm and welcoming environment throughout the program.
