LIONS INTERNATIONAL – DISTRICT 3231 A4 LIONS CLUB OF ULWE GEMS Region 4 | Zone 3 | L.Y. 2026–27 OCTOBER SERVICE WEEK 2026 DIABETES SCREENING CAMP Date: 3rd October 2026, Saturday Venue: Laxmi Public School, Sukapur, Panvel In Association With: BHUKHA NA RAHE KOI Community Service Team – Since 2021 --- PROJECT OVERVIEW As part of October Service Week 2026, a Diabetes Screening Camp was organised at Laxmi Public School, Sukapur, Panvel, in association with Bhukha Na Rahe Koi – Community Service Team Since 2021. The camp focused on promoting preventive healthcare, early detection of diabetes and regular health monitoring among students, parents, teachers and members of the local community. With 250 beneficiaries, 22 Lions in attendance and 88 Lion Hours, the camp created an opportunity for community members to understand their health status and the importance of regular screening. The collaborative participation of 15 Lions Clubs demonstrated the power of Twinning, Teamwork and Community Service, while the association with Bhukha Na Rahe Koi strengthened the initiative's focus on reaching and supporting the community.
