On behalf of the Lions Club of Alibag, the meritorious students who passed the first rank in various secondary and higher secondary schools in the taluka were felicitated by dignitaries with mementos, gifts and roses. The chief guest, former Deputy Commissioner of Mira Bhayandar Sudhir Raut, while addressing from the platform, promised to prepare for the exams of the Union Public Service Commission and Maharashtra Public Service Commission and provide necessary cooperation for this. On this occasion, Alibag Lion President Pradeep Naik praised the meritorious students, informed about the various activities implemented by Lions Alibag throughout the year, and expressed satisfaction with the large number of students and parents present. District Coordinator for Vision Lion Anil Mhatre appealed to the students to move forward in life with confidence and appealed to them to take advantage of the magnificent construction of the super specialty hospital and free eye check-ups and surgeries being carried out by Lions Alibag. The main attendees of the ceremony held in the grand auditorium of Kshatraikya Samaj Hall included District Coordinator Vision Lion Anil Mhatre, Secretary Mahesh Kawale, Treasurer Amogh Kinjavdekar, First VP Mahesh Chavan, Vaishali Kuchekar, District Coordinator Nayan Kawale, Avinash Raul, Santosh Patil, Nitin Shedge, Paresh Bhateja, Ramesh Dhanawade, Bhagwan Malpani, Ankita Mhatre, Dr. Rekha Mhatre, Vijay Wange. Alibag and all the meritorious students who passed the secondary and higher secondary examinations in the taluka with first rank were present in large numbers along with their parents.
