E-waste collection from Alibag Area.

06 Oct 2026

Lions Club of Alibaug Diamond organised an E-waste Collection Drive across nearby areas of Alibaug, creating awareness about the importance of responsible electronic waste disposal. Twelve dedicated club members participated actively in the collection drive and successfully collected approximately 60 kg of e-waste from the surrounding community. The collected waste will help ensure proper recycling and disposal, preventing harmful substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium from contaminating soil and water. The initiative also reduced the burden on landfills, supported resource recovery, and promoted sustainable waste management. Through this activity, the club encouraged residents to adopt environmentally responsible practices for a cleaner and greener Alibaug.
