Plant a Tree, Plant a Hope” – Tree Plantation Drive Tree plantation in Targhar, CBD Belapur, sims to combat rapid urbanization by restoring local green cover. It helps reduce air pollution, lowers local temperatures through shade, prevents soil erosion, and provides habitats for urban birds and insects. The activity is Conducted with the independent Co-ordinator.Mrs. Sharmila Khanna As part of our continued commitment towards environmental conservation and creating a greener tomorrow, Lions Club of New Bombay CBD Belapur successfully organized the “Plant a Tree, Plant a Hope” Tree Plantation Drive on Saturday, 11th July 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in association with J. Kumar Infraprojects Ltd., near Targhar Railway Station, Ulwe. We were privileged to have the gracious presence of Ln. A. K. Saha Ji of Lions Club of Samnnay, Region Chairperson Ln.
