Cancer Care Support – Provision of Medicines to a Cancer Patient Lions Club of Alibag Poynad extended medical support to Kumar Piyush Ramakant Patil, aged 24, residing at Katalpada, Post Poynad. Piyush is currently pursuing higher secondary education and has been diagnosed at an early stage with cancer. His condition is being managed through medical treatment, and timely medication and continued medical care are important for his recovery. Considering the medical and financial requirements associated with cancer treatment, Lions Club of Alibag Poynad provided him with one month’s supply of prescribed medicines related to his cancer treatment. The medicines were provided in accordance with medical advice, with the objective of supporting his ongoing treatment and reducing the financial burden on his family. The activity was undertaken in the presence of Installation Officer PMJF Lion Manish Ladge, Past District Governor PMJF Lion Anil Mhatre, and Region Chairperson MJF Lion Vidya Adhikari. The Club remains committed to continuing such meaningful medical-support initiatives in the future, particularly for individuals and families who require assistance in accessing essential treatment and medicines. Through this initiative, Lions Club of Alibag Poynad reaffirmed its commitment to Cancer Awareness, Cancer Care and humanitarian service by extending practical support to a young person undergoing treatment.
