*Installation & Induction Ceremony – Lions Club of Uran Gold* *Date* : 28 July 2026 *Time* : 7:00 PM *Venue* : Veer Wajekar College, Funde Auditorium, Uran *The Installation and Induction Ceremony* of the *Lions Club of Uran Gold* was held on 28 July 2026 at Veer Wajekar College, Funde Auditorium, in the presence of distinguished Lion leaders, members, guests, and well-wishers. The meeting was presided over by *Lion Niraj Kadian, President (2025–26). MJF Lion Mukesh Taneja* graced the occasion as the *Chief Guest and Installation Officer*, while *PMJF Lion Dr. Milind Patil* attended as the *Guest of Honour and Induction Officer*. The event was also attended by *Region Chairperson Lion Laxmi Sharma, Zone Chairperson Lion Deepa Mourya*, district dignitaries including Lion *Anoop Tharwani, Lion Vijay Patil, Lion Ramakant Mhatre, Lion Sangita Mhatre*, neighbouring club presidents, *Lion Umesh Jadhav* from *Ulwe Gems, Lion Rajesh Jagasia* from *Navi Mumbai Platinum & PF Superintendent Gorakshanath Nagargoje*, invited guests, club members, and the family members of the newly installed President. Secretary and Treasurer. The programme commenced with *Eshastavan*, followed by the *Flag Salutation* and the *National Anthem*, creating a solemn and patriotic atmosphere. The dignitaries were welcomed and felicitated by the club members. During the induction ceremony, *nine new members* were formally inducted into the *Lions Club of Uran Gold* by *PMJF Lion Milind Patil*, strengthening the club’s commitment to community service. The installation ceremony was conducted by *MJF Lion Mukesh Taneja*, who officially installed *Lion Rajendra Thakur as the President* for the Lionistic Year 2026–27, along with his *Board of Directors and office bearers*. The newly installed President *accepted the responsibility* and expressed his gratitude while reaffirming his commitment to *serve society through meaningful service activities*. As part of the club’s service initiatives, a *bicycle was donated to Miss Sayali Gopinath Narwade, an underprivileged schoolgirl who walks daily from Karanja to Navin Sheva* for her education. The club also distributed *notebooks* to the students of *Dr. S. V. Samant High School, Turbhe*, and *umbrellas* to underprivileged housemaids, reflecting Lions’ dedication to supporting education and community welfare. The programme was ably and professionally conducted by the *Master of Ceremonies, PMJF Lion Sandip Mhatre*, who ensured the smooth flow of the entire event. The ceremony concluded with Announcement & the Vote of Thanks delivered by *Secretary Lion Shreeyash Gharat*, followed by the meeting adjournment by *President Lion Rajendra Thakur*.
