Diabetes Awareness Month inauguration

Lions Club of Alibag Mandwa On Friday, 14 November 2025, the World Diabetes Awareness Month inauguration ceremony was successfully organized with great enthusiasm and at a large scale under the joint auspices of Lions Club of Mandwa and Lions Club of Murud–Janjira. The event was held at Lions True Diagno Lab, Kapadia Building, Chondi – Alibag. This program was not just an inauguration event, but the beginning of a series of month-long activities aimed at creating public awareness about diabetes. Today, diabetes has become a serious and growing health concern, and against this backdrop, this initiative taken by the Lions Club is extremely important for society. The program commenced, as per Lions tradition, with a Diabetes Awareness Walkathon Rally on the route: Lions Pathology Lab, Chondi → Shiv Snacks Corner, Agarsure → Lions Pathology Lab, Chondi. As part of this event, a Free Diabetes Check-up Camp and Madhavbaug Health Check-up Camp was organized. A large number of local citizens availed themselves of the check-ups. His guidance proved extremely useful and informative for all attendees. With the presence of all dignitaries, Lions Club Alibag Mandwa, Lions Club Murud-Janjira, Lions Club Alibag Diamond, Lions Club Alibag, Lions Club Poynad, Lions Club Nagaon, Lions Club Shribag Centenary, Lions Club Roha, Lions Club Pen Pride, Lions Club Nagothane, Lions Club Mahad, Lions Club Kolad-Roha, along with all club presidents, treasurers, secretaries, vice-presidents, members, local citizens, and the students & teachers of Lokmanya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Chondi–Kihim, this initiative concluded very successfully and effectively.
