Lions Club Conducts Child Cancer Awareness Programme at Ranpakhar Ashram School Nagothane: As part of the Service Week activities organized by the Lions Club of Nagothane, a Child Cancer Awareness and Health Guidance Programme was conducted for the students at Ranpakhar Aided Tribal Residential School, Nagothane. On this occasion, Lion MJF Mushtaq Khan interacted with the students in a simple, friendly and easy-to-understand manner and provided valuable guidance on child cancer and health awareness. While addressing the students, he not only explained the basic aspects of child cancer but also emphasized the importance of taking care of one’s health, following a nutritious diet, staying away from addictions and developing healthy lifestyle habits. Considering the age and understanding level of the students, he explained the subject through simple examples and interactive communication, which encouraged the students to participate enthusiastically. During the programme, Lion MJF Mushtaq Khan appealed to the students to stay away from tobacco, khaini, gutkha, cigarettes and alcohol, and also encouraged them to motivate their family members to lead an addiction-free life. He also highlighted the importance of reducing the consumption of fast food, junk food and highly processed foods and adopting a nutritious and balanced diet.
