Diabetes, Free Eye Checkup and Cataract Surgery Camp by Lions Club of Alibag Alibag, Date 31 A grand free diabetes eye checkup and cataract surgery camp was organized by Lions Club of Alibag, Lions Health Foundation, Government Medical College and District Government Hospital as well as 'Alibaghcha Raja' Ganesh Mitramandal, Alibag. The camp was inaugurated in the grand courtyard of 'Alibagcha Raja Mitramandal' by cutting the ribbon and offering obeisance to Lord Ganesha. On this occasion, more than ninety diebetic and eye patients were examined for eye and diabetes, while twenty-seven patients were referred for further treatment. At the inauguration, Lions Club of Alibaug President Lion Pradeep Naik, Secretary Mahesh Kavale, Past President Avinash Raul, Nitin Shedge, Lions Health Foundation's Dr. Shubhada Kudtalkar, Dr. Nikita Pise, Alibagcha Raja Mitramandal President Mahesh Kotian, Lions Club Alibag Health Foundation members, Alibagcha Raja Mitramandal members along with patients who came for eye check-up and diabetes check-up were present in large number. Satisfaction was expressed in the area that such a public service program was organized in the backdrop of Ganeshotsav.
