Happiness Through Service – Lions Club of Panvel Sargam 🩺 Healthy Minds, Healthy Future Theme Line: Caring for Today, Securing Tomorrow 🏆 Activity Name: School Health Checkup for Students & Teachers 📅 Date, Time & Venue: Date: Monday, 11th August 2025 Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Venue: Agari Shikshan Sanstha’s Primary & Secondary School, Plot No. 92 A & B, Sector 6, Khanda Colony, in front of Shankar Mandir, New Panvel. 📝 About the Event & Its Importance: Good health is the foundation of a child’s ability to learn, grow, and dream. Recognizing this, Lions Club of Panvel Sargam organized a comprehensive health checkup camp for students and teachers of Agari Shikshan Sanstha’s Primary & Secondary School. With the support of a dedicated medical team from Apollo Hospital, this initiative provided preventive healthcare screening to identify health concerns early and guide students toward healthier lifestyles. For many children, it was their first structured health examination, bringing awareness about the importance of nutrition, hygiene, and regular checkups. The joy and relief on the faces of both teachers and students reinforced the belief that service to health is service to humanity. 🩺 What We Did: Full medical examination of students and teachers by qualified doctors from Apollo Hospital. Guidance on hygiene, nutrition, and wellness for long-term health. 🦁 Lions Involved in the Activity: Ln Premendra Bahira – President Ln Dr Aditya Doshi – Secretary Ln Sanjay Godse Ln Swati Godse Ln Dr Manada Panditt Ln Anil Parmar ⏳ Total Hours Spent: Planning: 5 Hours On-Ground Execution: 6 Lions × 4 Hours = 24 Hours Total Lion Hours: 29 Hours Total 132 Health check up done 42 Teachers 90 students 🌟 Outcome: The camp successfully examined all students and teachers of the school, ensuring that any existing health issues could be addressed early. Teachers expressed deep appreciation for the club’s efforts, noting how such initiatives create a healthier learning environment. Parents were reassured that their children’s wellbeing was being cared for, and the school management welcomed more such collaborations in the future.
