🦁 Lions Club of Alibag – Mandwa October Service Week 2025 🌟 A Noble Act of Compassion – Financial Support to a Cancer Patient As part of the activities under October Service Week 2025, the Lions Club of Alibag – Mandwa once again proved that true service lies in standing beside those who are struggling the most. On the evening of Thursday, 2nd October 2025, the club carried out a deeply humanitarian project at Dhokavade village, by extending financial help to a cancer patient in need. The beneficiary of this support was Randhir Patil, a local resident who is currently fighting a very difficult and painful battle against cancer. Recognizing the challenges faced by Mr. Patil and his family – emotionally, physically, and financially – the Lions Club came forward with timely assistance. A sum of ₹15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) was handed over to him as a medical aid contribution, with the hope that this support would ease some of his burden and give his family the strength to continue his treatment. This act of kindness was made possible due to the generous courtesy of three dedicated Lions members: Lion Arvind Gharat Lion Bharat Asrani Lion Sudhir Puro
