Free cataract camp

Lions Club Alibag's free cataract surgery camp completed Lions Club of Alibag successfully organized a free screening camp. On the occasion of Sakharchauth Ganapati, this camp, organized in collaboration with the government hospital, was inaugurated by dignitaries. At this time, 30 out of 80 patients were referred for surgery. At this time, one patient with strabismus and four other patients were found. They were also provided free medical facilities. The main attendees for this initiative were Lions Club President Pradeep Naik, former president Avinash Raul, Nitin Shedge, Sanjay Mali, Prakash Deshmukh, Sameer Kawale, Vikas Gharat, Manoj Dhage, Santosh Patil, Dr. Sheetal Kudtalkar of Lions Health Foundation Alibaug, other medical staff, and Suryoday Sakhar Chauth Ganapati Mandal President Yogesh Mhatre, Treasurer Swapnil Mhatre and other members, patients who came for eye and diabetes screening as well as villagers from Thal and the surrounding area were present in large numbers.
