🪔 Happiness Through Service – Lions Club of Panvel Sargam 🍽️ आपुलकीचे जेवण – Spreading Warmth Through Food Theme Line: Nourishing Bodies, Nurturing Hearts 🏆 Activity Name: आपुलकीचे जेवण – Food Donation Drive at Shantivan Nivasi School 📅 Date, Time & Venue: Saturday, 9th August 2025 Time: 12:00 PM onwards Location: Shantivan Ashram Nivasi School, Nere 📝 About the Event & Its Importance: Food is more than just nourishment—it is an expression of love, care, and human connection. Under the initiative आपुलकीचे जेवण, Lions Club of Panvel Sargam participated in a heartfelt Food Donation Drive on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, ensuring that children from Shantivan Ashram Nivasi School enjoyed a wholesome and joyful meal. This activity aimed not only to satisfy hunger but to bring smiles, warmth, and a sense of celebration to young hearts. 🤝 What We Did: Served a delicious menu of Choley, Puri, Pulao, and Gulab Jamun. A total of 465 students were served with love and care. Lions Club of Panvel Sargam proudly sponsored 100 students, with full expenses graciously borne by Ln Milind Joshi. 🎁 What We Offered: A full, freshly prepared lunch for all students and staff present. 💰 Cost of Project / Donations: 100 students sponsored by Ln Milind Joshi (Lions Club of Panvel Sargam). 🦁 Lions Involved in the Activity (Panvel Sargam): Ln Premendra Bahira – President Ln Sanjay Godse Ln Swati Godse Ln Milind Joshi – Sponsor Ln Suyog Pendse - Associate Member ⏳ Total Hours Spent: Planning: 2 Hours On-Ground Execution: 5 Lions × 3 Hours = 15 Hours Total Lion Hours: 17 Hours 🌟 Outcome: The joy on the faces of the children was priceless. They relished every bite of the meal and expressed their gratitude in warm smiles and heartfelt words. Teachers shared that such initiatives bring much-needed happiness and motivation to the children, making them feel valued and loved.
