As part of Relieve the Hunger Week, a grocery distribution initiative was carried out at Vashi to support 16 residents of the old age home “Sai Krupa”, providing essential food and hygiene items. The thoughtfully prepared grocery kits included: Rice – 16 kg Wheat – 24 kg Rawa – 8 kg Poha – 8 kg Tea – 8 packets Dal – 4 kg Soap – 16 pieces Toothbrush – 16 pieces Toothpaste – 8 pieces The project was sponsored by Ln. Anuradha Jain and organized by Ln. Dr. Shruti Shah Jain. With the support of 1 volunteer contributing 1 hour, the initiative was executed efficiently and with heartfelt care. Completed at a cost of ₹1,600/-, this initiative reflects the mission of Relieve the Hunger Week, demonstrating how thoughtful acts of kindness can provide nourishment, hygiene, and dignity, positively impacting the lives of senior citizens in the community.
