Twinning Activity & Signature Project – Cancer Care Initiative

The Lions Club of New Bombay CBD Belapur successfully conducted its Twinning Activity & Signature Project – Cancer Care Initiative at ACTREC, Tata Memorial Hospital, Kharghar. As part of this humanitarian initiative, 100 fruit packets were distributed to cancer patients to spread care, hope, and encouragement during their treatment. The event was graced by DG Ln. Pravin Sirnaik, 1st DG Ln. Vijay Ganatra, District Coordinator Ln. R.P. Pandey, District Coordinator (Cancer & Childhood Cancer) Ln. Mushtaq Khan, and District Chairpersons Ln. Dharampal Chugh and Ln. Sujata Bhattin. Several senior Lion leaders, members from various clubs, President Ln. Jagruti Patil of Lions Club of NPST, and President Ln. Umesh Jadhav of Lions Club of Ulwe Gems also attended the program. This signature project was organized in collaboration with our twinning clubs—Lions Club of Kharghar, Lions Club of Kharghar Kopra, Lions Club of NPST, Lions Club of Kharghar Virtual, and Lions Club of Ulwe Gems—demonstrating the strength of unity in service. We sincerely thank our Zone Chairperson, Ln. Deepa Mourya, for her gracious presence and continuous support. Special appreciation goes to our club members Ln. Sushma Dalvi and Ln. Ulhas Wadke for their dedicated participation. We also express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful project, including those who supported us but could not attend due to prior commitments.
