Cataract Camp

As part of the Service Week of Lions Club of Nagothane, a Cataract Screening and Guidance Camp was organized jointly with Shankara Eye Hospital, Panvel. The camp received an overwhelming response from citizens of Nagothane and the surrounding areas. A total of 66 patients underwent eye examinations, out of whom 34 patients were identified as eligible for cataract surgery. The concerned patients were provided with necessary guidance regarding further treatment and surgery. The camp was made possible with valuable financial support from Mr. Sanjay Raghunath Mhatre. His generous contribution played an important role in the successful organization of the camp. Mr. Sanjay Raghunath Mhatre was also present as the Chief Guest on the occasion.
