*LIONS INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 3231A4* *LIONS CLUB OF ULWE GEMS* Region 4 | Zone 3 | Lionistic Year 2026–27 *Orientation Seminar – A Day of Learning, Leadership & Lionism* Date: *16th July 2026* Venue: *Hotel Nimantran, CBD Navi Mumbai* With the vision of strengthening leadership through knowledge, the *Lions Club of Ulwe Gems* proudly and successfully organized an *Orientation Seminar* for Club Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers, and Newly Inducted Members. The seminar witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than *70 Lions representing 17 clubs,* reflecting the commitment of our members to learn, grow, and serve with excellence. The entire programme was meticulously planned and professionally executed, creating an inspiring learning environment that was appreciated by every participant. The enthusiasm, discipline, and active involvement of all attendees made the seminar a truly memorable milestone for our district. The programme commenced with the traditional *Lighting of the Lamp* by the distinguished guests, symbolizing the *light of knowledge and service* . The seminar was honoured by the gracious presence of *Chief Guest and Faculty, 1st Vice District Governor Lion Vijay Ganatra* , who conducted an outstanding orientation session. His vast experience, practical guidance, and inspiring leadership lessons captivated every participant. The audience remained attentive throughout the session with pin-drop silence, demonstrating their eagerness to absorb every valuable insight shared. Adding further energy to the seminar, *Lion Mustaq Khan* conducted an engaging *Question & Answer Session* , where participants enthusiastically answered questions with confidence, sincerity, and excellent understanding. The interactive session reflected the effectiveness of the learning experience and the participants' dedication towards Lionism. The Welcome and Introductory Address was delivered by *PMJF Lion Milind Ramesh Patil* , who warmly welcomed everyone and explained the vision, purpose, and importance of organizing the Orientation Seminar. He emphasized that knowledge is the strongest foundation of leadership and service, and that empowered Lions create stronger clubs and a stronger district. *District Coordinator Orientation, Lion Jai Lal Maan* , shared his valuable thoughts on the significance of orientation and encouraged every Lion to continuously upgrade their knowledge and leadership skills. The seminar concluded with inspiring remarks by *2nd Vice District Governor Lion Namita Mishra,* who appreciated the excellent planning, disciplined execution, and meaningful content of the programme. She congratulated *PMJF Lion Milind Ramesh Patil* and the entire *Lions Club of Ulwe Gems* for organizing such a remarkable Orientation Seminar. She described it as a pioneering initiative by a club in the district and encouraged more clubs to organize similar knowledge-based programmes. In his closing remarks, *PMJF Lion Milind Ramesh Patil* expressed heartfelt gratitude to every participant, dignitary, faculty member, and volunteer for dedicating their valuable time to learning. He emphasized that this seminar was not merely a training programme but a collective commitment to strengthening Lionism through knowledge, wisdom, and effective leadership.
