🦁 Lions Club of Alibag – Mandwa 🦁 🌟 October Service Week 2025 🌟 “A Thoughtful Initiative for the Unsung Heroes – Our Traffic Police Officers” As a part of the noble initiatives undertaken during October Service Week 2025, the Lions Club of Alibag – Mandwa proudly organized a humanitarian activity focusing on the health, comfort, and well-being of our dedicated traffic police personnel. Recognizing the selfless service of the traffic police who stand for hours under the blazing sun, amidst pollution, rain, and dust — guiding the public and ensuring road safety — the club took a thoughtful step to support their health and daily needs. Hence, on Friday, 3rd October 2025, at 11:30 a.m., a special Protective Anti-Rust Goggles Distribution Programme was successfully conducted at the Traffic Police Department, Alibag. A total of 100 traffic police officers benefitted from this initiative. The Anti-Rust Goggles distributed were specially designed to shield their eyes from harmful dust particles, heat, and pollution, helping to prevent irritation and infection caused by long exposure to outdoor conditions.
