🪔 Happiness Through Service 🪔 Raksha Bandhan Celebration with Brahma Kumaris Organized in association with DSRF Trust, Neel Hospital & Brahma Kumaris 🟡 Lions Global Cause Covered: Youth Engagement & Community Empowerment 🏆 Name of the Activity: Raksha Bandhan Celebration with Brahma Kumaris Theme Line: “Threads of Love, Bonds of Light” – Strengthening hearts with purity, peace, and divine connection. 📅 Date, Time & Venue: Friday, 8th August 2025 Time: 4:00 PM Venue: Divine Wellness Center, 3rd Floor, Neel Hospital, Sector 1, Opp. CIDCO Office, New Panvel, Navi Mumbai 📝 About the Event & Its Importance: Raksha Bandhan is traditionally a celebration of the protective and loving bond between siblings. At this special event, the Lions Club of Panvel Sargam joined hands with the Brahma Kumaris to embrace a deeper spiritual meaning of Rakhi — the eternal bond between the soul and the Supreme, built on purity, promise, and protection. This was not only a festival of tying threads, but also an occasion to reaffirm our commitment to living with compassion, kindness, and service to humanity. It was an opportunity to connect with the Brahma Kumaris’ message of inner peace and soul consciousness, resonating with the Lions’ ethos of Happiness Through Service. 🤝 What We Did: Our Lions members attended and actively participated in the celebrations. We engaged in heartfelt interactions, listened to inspiring talks on values and spiritual well-being, and experienced the peaceful atmosphere created by the Brahma Kumaris community. Our members expressed how the teachings of peace and purity shared by the Brahma Kumaris resonated with their personal values and Lions’ mission. The symbolic Rakhi tied during the ceremony became more than a thread — it became a reminder of our responsibility to protect and uplift every soul we serve.
