Started Mortuary service in rural area. A Much-Needed Service for Our Rural Community Many parents today have children living far away, in other cities or abroad, for education or work. In the unfortunate event of a family member’s demise, preserving the deceased until the family arrives can be a major challenge. Understanding this need, Lions Club of Alibag Diamond, in association with Prayas Hospital, Gotheghar, has initiated a Mortuary / Freezer Box Service under Lions October Service Week. The service was inaugurated by District Governor PMJF Lion Pravin Sarnaik, in the presence of GST Coordinator Lion Anil Mhatre, Region Chairperson Lion Vidya Adhikari, Zone Chairperson Lion Janhvi Agashe, Lion Pradeep Naik, District Secretary Lion Nayan Kawale, and the office bearers and members of Lions Club of Alibag Diamond. This initiative aims to provide dignity, support and peace of mind to families during their most difficult moments. Fund spent - Rs 58000/- Volunteers- 13 Lion hrs - 39
