Lions Club of Alibag Diamond undertook a tree-pruning activity at Karlikhind Ghat to improve road safety and visibility. During the rainy season, overgrown trees and branches obstruct the view of vehicles approaching from the opposite direction, especially at sharp turns, increasing the possibility of accidents. To address this concern, Lions members carefully pruned the roadside trees and cleared the obstructing branches, providing drivers with better visibility of the road and upcoming turns. This timely environmental and safety initiative aimed to protect commuters and make travel through the ghat safer. Twelve members participated, contributing 36 Lion Hours. Cost: ₹2,500.
