Cancer awareness bike rally

On 1st October 2026, the Lions Club of Alibag organized a Cancer Awareness Bike Rally to create awareness about childhood and women’s cancers and to emphasize the importance of early detection, timely medical consultation, and preventive healthcare. The rally also marked the grand opening of October Service Week, bringing Lions members together for a dedicated month of community service and health-awareness initiatives. A total of 27 Lions members actively participated in the rally, contributing 135 volunteer hours (5 hours × 27 Lions). The activity was conducted with the objective of spreading an important health message among the community and encouraging greater awareness about cancer prevention and early detection. The total cost of the activity was ₹50,000.
