LIONS INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 3231 A4 | L.Y. 2026–27 NOTEBOOK DISTRIBUTION DRIVE In Association with Bhukha Na Rahe Koi Community Service Team – Since 2021 Date: 2nd October 2026 Time: 4:30 PM onwards Venue: Opp. Shagun White Woods, Plot No. 183, Sector 20, Ulwe, Navi Mumbai --- 1. ACTIVITY OVERVIEW As part of the Inauguration of October Service Week 2026, a Notebook Distribution Initiative was undertaken under the banner of Bhukha Na Rahe Koi – Community Service Team (Since 2021). As part of this large-scale educational-support initiative, 250 dozen notebooks, equivalent to 3,000 notebooks, were distributed to participating Lions Clubs. The participating Clubs will further distribute the notebooks to deserving students in their respective communities. The initiative aims to support education, encourage regular schooling and provide essential educational material to children from deserving and economically vulnerable families. --- 2. OBJECTIVES The initiative was undertaken with the following objectives: - To provide essential educational material to deserving students. - To encourage children to continue their education with confidence. - To support students from economically vulnerable families. - To reduce the financial burden of basic educational requirements. - To promote education as a foundation for a better future. - To strengthen collaborative educational service among Lions Clubs. --- 4. INTER-CLUB DISTRIBUTION MODEL The 3,000 notebooks were made available to participating Lions Clubs for further distribution. Each participating Club will identify deserving students within its respective community and ensure that the notebooks reach children who genuinely require educational support. This collaborative model enables the project to reach a wider section of society through the combined efforts of multiple Lions Clubs. --- 5. Through this initiative, Bhukha Na Rahe Koi continues to promote meaningful educational support and create opportunities for deserving students to learn, grow and progress. --- 6.
