Educational Trip for Visually Impaired Girls

Alibag: An educational trip was organized for the students of Bhavana Chandak (Falor) Mahanab School for the Blind, a residential school for visually impaired girls functioning under the National Association for the Blind, Maharashtra Unit. The trip was successfully conducted on Friday, 13th February 2026, at Alibag. A total of 55 students along with 15 teaching and non-teaching staff members participated in the excursion. The students were given the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing visit to Awas Beach. Arrangements for their accommodation and meals were generously sponsored by Lions members Ln. Jitendra Bairde and Ln. Sonal Bairde. The program also included various recreational activities, a karaoke session, and a fellowship dinner for the students. Around 18 members of the Lions Club of Alibag Mandwa were present and actively participated in making the event successful. This humanitarian initiative reflected strong social commitment and provided the students with a joyful, inspiring, and memorable experience. The dignitaries present highly appreciated the commendable service rendered by the club.
