ACTIVITY OVERVIEW As part of the Inauguration of October Service Week 2026, a Diabetes Screening Camp was organised under the banner of Bhukha Na Rahe Koi – Community Service Team (Since 2021). The camp focused on promoting early detection, diabetes awareness and preventive healthcare among members of the community. A total of 150 beneficiaries were screened during the camp. --- 2. OBJECTIVES The screening camp was conducted with the following objectives: - To promote awareness about diabetes and its risk factors. - To encourage early detection through regular screening. - To create awareness regarding preventive healthcare. - To encourage healthy lifestyle practices. - To motivate individuals to undertake regular health check-ups. - To provide basic screening support to members of the community. --- 4. KEY HEALTH AWARENESS AREAS The beneficiaries were sensitised about: - Early detection and regular screening - Diabetes prevention - Healthy dietary habits - Physical activity and exercise - Maintaining a healthy lifestyle - Importance of regular medical consultation --- 5. SERVICE IMPACT 150 BENEFICIARIES SCREENED The Diabetes Screening Camp successfully provided an opportunity for community members to understand the importance of regular diabetes screening and preventive healthcare. The initiative reflects the Lions' commitment to health awareness, early intervention and community wellbeing. --- 6.
