As part of Relieve the Hunger Week, a grocery distribution initiative was carried out at Koparkhairne, Vashi to support residents of an old age home with essential food and hygiene supplies. The distributed items included: Rice – 10 kg Wheat – 15 kg Rawa – 5 kg Poha – 5 kg Tea – 5 packets Dal – 2.5 kg Potatoes – 10 kg Onions – 10 kg Soap – 10 pieces Toothbrush – 10 pieces Toothpaste – 5 pieces. The project was sponsored by Ln. Anuradha Jain and organized by PMJF Ln. Sudha Rani Jain. With the dedicated efforts of 2 volunteers contributing 1 hour each, the initiative was successfully completed in 2 volunteer hours, demonstrating focused service and teamwork. Executed at a cost of ₹1,000/-, the project reflects the spirit of Relieve the Hunger Week, showing how collective effort and compassion can bring nourishment, hygiene, and care to those who need it most.
