🌳 Project: Tree Plantation, Nurturing Campaign and Check Dam Groundbreaking Ceremony District 3231 A4 – Region IV (Grand Inauguration of October Service Week) --- 📅 Date & Venue Date: Tuesday, 30th September 2025 Time: 10:00 AM (sharp) Venue: Choronde Cricket Ground, Alibag --- 🎯 Purpose of the Initiative On the occasion of October Service Week 2025, the Lions Club of Alibag – Mandwa organized an impactful and socially beneficial program focusing on environmental protection and sustainable development. The primary objectives of this project were: ✔️ Tree Plantation Drive 🌱 – To promote greenery, enhance biodiversity, and contribute to combating climate change by planting saplings. ✔️ Tree Care & Continuous Nurturing 🌳 – To ensure the planted saplings grow into healthy trees through regular monitoring, watering, and protection. ✔️ Check Dam Construction 💧 – To conserve rainwater, prevent soil erosion, and strengthen water resources for local farmers and villagers, ensuring long-term agricultural benefits.
