birthday celebration of trees planted in 2025 26

Lions Club of Alibag Diamond proudly participated in the “Nisarg Bandh” programme organised by the Lions Club of Mandwa at Chorande. During 2025–26, more than 1,500 trees were planted and lovingly cared for through regular watering and maintenance. On 6th October 2026, we celebrated the “birthday” of these trees in a unique and meaningful way. A cake-cutting ceremony was organised, and colourful balloons were offered to each tree as a symbol of love, care and commitment towards nature. This initiative beautifully reinforced the message that planting a tree is only the beginning—nurturing it to grow is our real responsibility. Through this celebration, we encouraged the community to protect greenery and build a healthier, greener future.
