LIONS INTERNATIONAL District 3231-A4 | Lions Year 2026–27 OCTOBER SERVICE WEEK 2026 ACTIVITY REPORT – CANCER CARE SERVICE Lead Club: Lions Club of New Bombay CBD Belapur Activity: Cancer Care Service – Hygiene Kit Distribution & Wheelchair Donation Announcement Date: Monday, 5th October 2026 Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Venue: Asha Niwas, ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre, Owe Camp, Kharghar – 410210 Activity Description As part of October Service Week 2026, Lions Club of New Bombay CBD Belapur, along with seven participating Lions Clubs, conducted a Cancer Care Service Activity at Asha Niwas, ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre, Kharghar. Personal hygiene kits were distributed to cancer patients and caregivers, providing essential hygiene products and support during their treatment journey. On this occasion, the donation of 2 wheelchairs for patients was also announced as part of the club's continued commitment to supporting cancer patients and improving their comfort and mobility. The activity was carried out with the spirit of care, compassion and hope, providing meaningful support and comfort to the beneficiaries.
